WorldWide Parking Signs Dominican Republic Parking Contract

ROCKVILLE, MD – April 18, 2003 - WorldWide Parking Inc., a premier parking privatization and smartcard company, today announced that an agreement has been signed to install and operate a full on-street parking system for the City of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

Under this 20-year contract, with a 20 year extension, approximately 6,000 spaces will be installed and managed by WorldWide Parking Inc. In accordance with the contract, the onstreet parking system of Santo Domingo will include equipment purchase, installation, maintenance, collection, auditing, enforcement, ticket processing, smartcard program, and a residential parking permit program. The implementation team is currently working in Santo Domingo and looks forward to this opportunity for success in the Dominican Republic.
