| We just hired several new checkers and needed more Chalk sticks. We had to make our own. We used narrow aluminum pipe (sorry, don't know the gauge, but about 5/8's inch diameter). Pipe benders were used to bend to our favorite angle. Then two sizes of rubber hoses (I recommend medical rubber tubing, not car hoses) are used to make a handle, and then to hold the chalk. I don't know what the costs were. I had mine cut down to about 3 and half feet. Much easy to handle, and easier to as a cane. |
